Control4收购瑞士NEEO，将带来全新摇控器

2019年2月美国Control4完成了对瑞士NEEO的收购，现在NEEO团队正和Control4技术团队共同研发新款产品，将不久的将来，全新交互体验的Control4版NEEO摇控器就要来啦！

Dear Control4 Dealers and Distributors,

I’m pleased to announce that Control4 has acquired Switzerland-based NEEO, the creators of the industry-acclaimed NEEO Remote. By adding NEEO to the Control4 team, we intend to accelerate and enrich future Control4 smart home interaction devices. This includes remotes, touch panels, keypads, and other devices that enable customers to interact with their Control4 Smart Homes.

Through the creation of its beautiful and intuitive remote, the customer-centric NEEO product team has demonstrated cohesive expertise in industrial design, mechanical engineering, user experience, and software development. We’re thrilled that the NEEO team in Bern, led by founder Raphael Oberholzer, has already started working with Control4 product teams here in Salt Lake City. Raphael will report to Charlie Kindel, SVP Products & Services, and will help lead the development of Control4 interaction devices. The combined teams are applying their joint efforts and experiences towards creating and delivering elegant and easy-to-use products for Control4 homeowners and their families, using the industrial design of the NEEO Remote for its foundation.

NEEO previously sold its products online but discontinued all NEEO product sales and distribution as a part of joining Control4 today, since Control4 does not sell directly to consumers. They have also stopped work on the remote for custom integrators, which they previewed this past September at CEDIA.

Today’s communication is not a product announcement—so please continue business as usual. We’ll provide more complete information when our joint product is commercially available in the future.
